SOP No. CP 1/2011 (Community Policing Initiative No. I)

The Inspector General of Police, Balochistan issued instructions to all the RPOs, DPOs, SHOs and other concerned Police Officers to arrange visits and participation of students in meetings / briefings in Police Stations of the province. Arrangements would be made by the local police to invite the teachers and students to Police Stations every week and the concerned police officers will brief them about the working of police station, crime prevention strategies against anti-social elements and answer all the questions raised by the visitors. It was publicized widely through electric and print media. The teachers and students will also be requested to assist and co-operate with police for better policing in the society and to fight the scourge of terrorism and extremism.

SOP No. CP 2/2011 (Community Policing Initiative No. II)

The Inspector General of Police, Balochistan has issued special instructions to all the concerned throughout the province to streamline the process of issuance of Driving Licences to the public in order to facilitate them in obtaining the licence without much hassle with the purpose to encourage the public to drive their vehicles with proper driving licence. The project is named “Driving Licence at your doorsteps” as it promises the obtaining of Driving Licence with much ease.  In this regard a special program has been chalked to issue the driving licence at many public points to facilitate the public to get driving licence at their nearest places.
