Provincial Police Officer Balochistan is the overall Commander of Balochistan Police.  He is assisted by following Officers:

There are 04 police regions apart from Capital City Police, Quetta in Balochistan:

  v   Northern Region, Loralai                 -  Headquartered at Loralai

  v Eastern Region, Sibi                       -  Headquartered at Sibi

  v   Central Region, Khuzdar                 -  Headquartered at Khuzdar

  v   Southern Region, Makran                -  Headquartered at Gwadar

Ø   Each region comprises of a number of Police Districts.

Ø   Capital City Police is headed by Additional IG (Capital City Police Officer). He is assisted by following two DIsG:

(i)       DIG Operations.

(ii)      DIG Investigation.

Ø   Special Branch Balochistan is headed by DIG who assisted by SP Political, SP Security and SP Establishment. Special Branch is responsible for intelligence gathering and providing security to VIP's in the Province.

Ø   Balochistan Constabulary is also headed by Additional IGP (Commandant) assisted by Deputy Commandant of the rank of DIG. BC is striking reserve for assisting regular police in handling law & order in the province.
